Independent supplier audits by auditors based in the region.

A network of experienced industrial quality professionals in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand. Every auditor is checked against a published verification ladder before they’re proposed for an audit. One report format, and corrective actions tracked with you to closure.

In 30 seconds

What an audit looks like.

Reviewing the plan and documents, walking the line, recording findings, and the closing meeting where corrective actions are agreed.

What we are and are not

What we are

  • A network of experienced industrial quality auditors, based in the region
  • Second-party supplier audits and assessments, commissioned by you
  • One report format, with severity set by written rules
  • Independent of the supplier being audited

What we are not

  • A certification body. We issue no certificates and claim no accreditation
  • The decision maker. We recommend; you approve or reject the supplier
  • Connected to any manufacturer, supplier or sourcing business
The problem

A supplier in Penang needs auditing. The usual routes each have a cost.

Send your own engineer

Flights, a hotel and travel days either side, and one of your process engineers is off the floor for most of a week to audit one supplier.

Use a certification body

Often priced and scheduled for certification work rather than supplier assessment, with longer lead times. The auditor may not know your process.

Find someone locally

Hard to confirm a certification is genuine. Often no written contract, no standard report format, and no one to escalate to if the audit falls short.

Many of the competent people already work in the region’s factories: plant quality managers and quality directors with long careers behind them. The difficulty is finding them, checking them, contracting them and comparing their reports.

How it works

From request to closed corrective action.

Our target is 5 to 12 working days from your request to a confirmed engagement.

  1. STEP 01

    Tell us what you need

In plain English. “Audit my semiconductor supplier in Penang. Wire-bonded packages; we’re concerned about process control.” Country, site and dates are enough to start.

  2. STEP 02

    We propose an auditor

You see each candidate by capability: level, certifications and their verification status, industry and process experience, and languages, with the reason they fit. Each one declares any conflict with the site before accepting.

  3. STEP 03

    They audit on site

Where we have an auditor in the country, there’s no flight or visa. Where we don’t, the quotation shows the travel openly. Each finding is recorded against a requirement, with objective evidence.

  4. STEP 04

    We track it with you

Our target is the report within five working days of the last audit day. We then review the supplier’s root-cause responses, send weak ones back with a reason, and track each finding until it’s closed with evidence. On-site verification visits are quoted separately.

Under the radar

What auditors find on the floor

  1. 01

    P6.4.3 · Measurement

A gauge past its calibration date, still in use

Seen by reading the label at the station, not the calibration register.

Coverage

Local auditors cut travel cost.

A Singapore customer shouldn’t need to fly an auditor to a supplier in Batam or Penang. We’re building depth where the manufacturing is.

Sites elsewhere in each country can be reached with travel added to the quotation.

If we don’t have a suitable auditor for your site, we’ll tell you, and offer an alternative: we can find and check one for you, or quote a cross-border auditor with the travel cost shown.

Verification & independence

Anyone can claim to be a lead auditor. We check.

Registration is open to any quality professional. Being proposed for an audit is not. Each claim on a profile is backed by a dated record of what was checked, and by whom.

  1. Registered

Email confirmed. Not listed, not offered work, not visible to any customer.

  2. Competency profile submitted

Industries, standards, technical competencies, process specialisms, languages and availability.

  3. Under verification

Identity document checked. Certificates confirmed with the bodies that issued them. Two professional references contacted. A competence interview held.

  4. Verified

All checks passed, with a level assigned by us rather than self-selected. Only now can a professional be proposed for an audit or offered an engagement.

  5. Verified and proven

Has completed engagements through the network, with reports accepted and delivery rated at or above our threshold.

TodayAll seven of our auditors, the five founders and the two in Thailand, are going through these checks now. None has reached step 03 yet.

When a certification lapses

That professional stops being matched for that standard until the renewal is confirmed. We remind them 60 days before expiry.

Independent of the supplier being audited

We are not owned by, and earn nothing from, any manufacturer, supplier or component-sourcing business. Before accepting an engagement, every professional declares any link to the organisation being audited: current or former employment, a financial interest, or a family connection. Read the independence policy.

The deliverable

One report format, whoever audited and wherever.

Every finding carries the same structure, and severity is assigned by written rules rather than individual judgement, so audits by different people in different countries can be compared.

Finding F-07 Major · Systemic
Process area
Wire bond — post-bond destructive monitor (ball shear)
Requirement
Control plan, ball shear line: test every 2 hours, 5 bonds per bonder. Reaction plan: hold all units bonded since the last conforming test.
Finding
Ball shear was tested once per shift instead of every 2 hours, on all three shifts, throughout the sampled period. All recorded results were within limits.
Evidence
Ball shear records for two bonders over seven production days: 21 of 21 shifts reviewed. Interview with the line technician (role only). Current control plan and reaction plan reviewed.
Risk
If bond strength drifted, up to one full shift of bonded units (about 8 hours) would be suspect, not 2 hours. The test is destructive, so suspect units can’t be screened later in the process.
Product status
Lots from the sampled period were identified and on hold at the time of audit. Had suspect product shipped, this finding would be raised as Critical.
Response due
Containment within 5 working days · root cause and corrective action within 15 · closure verified within 60 days
  • Critical — safety risk, suspect product shipped, or a process out of control
  • Major — a requirement not met in a way likely to cause an escape
  • Minor — a single lapse in an otherwise working control
  • Observation — a risk, not a nonconformity

VDA 6.3 process audits (A2) use VDA 6.3’s own question rating and A, B or C classification. The severity levels above apply to our other audit services.

See a complete illustrative report: scope, findings register, evidence, a rejected root cause and the closure tracker.

Every finding cites a requirement

And the objective evidence behind it. Anything without both is recorded as an observation, clearly separated from the findings.

Weak root causes are sent back

“Operator did not follow the procedure” describes what happened, not why the system allowed it. We return responses like this with a reason, and don’t mark the finding closed.

Disputed findings are re-checked

A senior reviewer who didn’t perform the audit re-checks the finding against the recorded evidence. If the evidence doesn’t support it, we withdraw it and explain why. If it does, it stands.

For quality professionals

Put your factory-floor experience to work, on your terms.

Open registration for quality engineers, certified auditors and process specialists in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand.

  • We find the work. No selling, no proposals, no chasing purchase orders.
  • Planned payment terms: within 10 working days of your report being accepted, set out in your contractor agreement, and not dependent on whether the customer has paid us.
  • You’re identified by a profile code, not your name. Your identity goes to a customer only once an engagement is confirmed and paid.
  • You choose what you take. No obligation to accept any offer, and you remain free to work elsewhere.
  • We handle the customer side. Contracting and invoicing with the customer are ours. You work as an independent contractor, not an employee.

Where we’re recruiting

  1. Thailand’s Eastern Economic Corridor — certified auditors in Chonburi or Rayong, ideally automotive or electronics. Our two Thailand auditors are based in Bangkok, Ayutthaya and Lamphun.
  2. Malaysia — more certified auditors in Penang, Kulim and the Klang Valley.
  3. EMS, SMT and PCBA — process specialists in any of the four countries.

Registering doesn’t guarantee work. Offers depend on customer demand in your region and field. Verification takes two to three weeks and includes an interview. When you register, we explain exactly how fees, payment and our margin work.

Questions

What buyers usually ask.

Who would actually do the audit?
You first see the auditor by profile code and capability: level, certifications and their verification status, industry and process experience, and languages. Their name and contact are shared once the engagement is confirmed and paid. Our founding auditors.
How do you know they’re competent?
We check identity, confirm certificates with the bodies that issued them, contact two references and hold a competence interview. All seven of our auditors are going through these checks now. The verification steps.
Are you independent?
Of the supplier being audited, yes. We aren’t owned by, and earn nothing from, any manufacturer, supplier or sourcing business, and every auditor declares conflicts before each engagement. Independence policy.
Do you issue certificates?
No. We perform second-party and internal audits and claim no accreditation. If you need a certificate, we can prepare a site for its certification audit with a gap assessment.
Do you cover Thailand?
Yes. Two auditors are based in Thailand, covering Bangkok, Ayutthaya and Lamphun, and are going through verification now. For Chonburi, Rayong and the rest of the Eastern Economic Corridor, travel is added to the quotation.
What does it cost?
Starting prices are listed above. Your quotation adds hotel and transport at actual cost, travel time and your specific requirements, and you agree it before anything is booked.
What if the supplier disputes a finding?
A senior auditor who didn’t perform the audit re-checks it against the recorded evidence. Unsupported findings are withdrawn with an explanation; supported ones stand.
Who decides whether to approve the supplier?
You do. We report findings and a recommendation, review the supplier’s corrective actions, and track them with you until closed.
